We have collectively fifty years of R&D and product development experiences in the field of renewable energy, especially on solar technology. These are the following services that we can provide are: (i) Consultancy in wide range of renewable energy projects, mainly for solar technology and its application for building, agritech, open field and small- medium- large-scale deployment and analysis, (ii) Short courses on renewable energy, mainly for technologies, application, financial and economical feasibilities, (iii) Research & Development in solar related products, where the company has cumulative publication records of over 500 peer reviewed articles, (iv) Customised mono- or bifacial Si solar cels and (v) Customised semitransparent solar greenhouses. ABOUT BUILD SOLAR
OUR STORY
Following many years of research into integrated solar technologies, a small team from the University of Exeter decided to create a spin-out company to develop some of their innovative ideas.
The company is led by entrepreneur and solar scientist Dr Hasan Baig and world-leading renewable energy scientist Professor Tapas K. Mallick.
OUR VISION
Buildings consume more than forty percent of the electricity produced across the globe.
Deployment of standard solar technology is limited by the large area requirement and the negative visual impact. We want to overcome these limitations by introducing technologies that become a part of the building's envelope.
We aim to BUILD integrated, affordable, efficient, and attractive SOLAR technologies as part of the building's architecture, in places where energy demand is highest, whilst having minimal impact on the landscape and on quality of life.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Build Solar is supported by cutting-edge research, carried out at the University of Exeter. It brings together the latest solar technology and embeds it within conventional construction materials. This combination provides access to new markets and creates opportunities to deploy solar technologies within urban environments.
